Kairat Secure Big Win But Miss Out on Clean Sheet
The Almaty side confirmed their status as the main favorites of the season by crushing Aktobe 5-1.
It all started with an own goal by Angelina Zhdanova, after which Zhaniya Makhash and Milena Nikolenko made it a blowout before the break.
In the 55th minute, Angelina Klenova scored the fourth goal, while in the 68th minute, the Red-and-Whites managed to pull one back through Aizhan Yessirkepova – marking the first goal conceded by Kairat this season.
Finally, Zhaniya Makhash set the final score in the 77th minute, successfully converting a penalty.
Zarlykhan Powers Kaisar to First Victory in the Girls' Tournament
Freedom QJ League W debutants Kaisar earned their first points of the season in the previous round, defeating Ordabasy in a thrilling encounter.
It was the visitors who opened the scoring in Kyzylorda, with Balnur Yergeshbek finding the net as early as the 4th minute. However, the hosts were brought back into the game by 14-year-old forward Shamsiya Zarlykhan. By scoring a brace within eight minutes in the first half and adding a third after the break, she not only secured a historic victory for her team but also moved to the top of the scoring chart with four goals – Shamsiya had previously scored against Shakhter.
Ordabasy could only respond to this performance with a goal from Danagul Nurbay, leaving the final score at 3-2. After the second round, the Shymkent side remain the only team with zero points to their name.
1-4 in Pavlodar
Astana have no intention of falling behind Kairat in the title race – in the previous round, the capital side claimed a confident win over Irtysh.
The Pavlodar team managed to take the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a goal by Anastasia Gordeeva. However, luck soon turned away from the hosts: first, Damira Maksat levelled the score in the 35th minute, before an own goal by Valeria Kosareva put the visitors ahead. In the second half, Astana sealed the result with precise strikes from Zhibek Marat and Alziya Zhambyl – 1-4.
Shakhter and Tobyl Split the Points
The match in Karaganda ended without goals, as Shakhter and Tobyl shared the points. The only notable moment on the match sheet was a yellow card shown to Aisulu Abenova in the 80th minute.
For the Kostanay side, this was their first point of the season, while the Miners now have four points and sit third in the tournament table, right behind Kairat and Astana.
