QJ League

Freedom QJ League holds elite-level competitions among youth teams of professional football clubs in Kazakhstan. The winner of the QJ League gets the right to represent Kazakhstan in the UEFA Youth League.
In the first season, 12 of the strongest youth teams of Kazakhstan, made up of players born in 2006 (age category U-18), take part in the championship.
In 2024, 32 teams representing 18 regions of the country participated in the league across two age categories: players born in 2007 (U-18 age group) and players born in 2008 (U-17 age group).
In 2025, youth teams from 20 clubs are competing in the QJ League across two divisions and three age categories. A girls' league has also been launched.
Freedom QJ League matches are held in a weekly cycle in a home-and-away format as part of a smooth double-legged tournament.
All the main expenses for organizing and conducting the competition, including funding for travel, food and accommodation for teams to participate in away matches, payment for refereeing and inspection, as well as marketing support for the QJ League, are covered by the project’s general partner – Freedom Holding Corp.
Our priorities: creating new opportunities in Kazakhstan, investing in the football future, developing the potential of young talents, holding elite-level competitions and creating a digital football environment!
