Rokhus Shokh, President of the Freedom QJ League, paid a working visit to Taraz.
Rokhus Rokhusovich inspected the infrastructure of the club's football center, including the pitch of the "Zhastar" stadium, and provided recommendations to bring it into full compliance with the League's licensing standards.
He also met with the management of "Taraz" to discuss the prospects for the further development of youth football in the region—including the possible inclusion of the club's women's team into the Freedom QJ League.
Another important point on the visit's agenda was Rochus Shoch's meeting with coaches, young football players, and their parents.
"I am very glad that I came. For me, this is my hometown, my home school, my native land. Together with Vait Abdul-Hamidovich Talgaev, our aksakal and League ambassador, we held such a meeting.
Coaches, players, and parents were all there. We shared what we are doing, showed everything once again, and explained our vision.
We received nothing but words of gratitude, and this is very important. Special thanks go to Timur Turlov and Freedom Holding Corp. for financing such a powerful project. The League brings great social and sporting development, and everyone understands that.
But most importantly, we received feedback. We learned about the pressing issues, including those related to the development of the school and infrastructure. The meeting was incredibly interesting, useful, and important. And I think we will definitely continue to hold such events in other regions.
Of course, there are many problems in Taraz, my native and beloved city. Today I met with the heads of the regional sports administration. Among other things, we discussed the notorious pitch of the "Zhastar" stadium, which they had replaced. It does not meet the required quality standards.
Today, the head of the regional sports administration gave his word that by the end of the year they would relay the surface and install a modern pitch here. I told the parents about this, and they are very happy that such a promise was made. We hope it will be fulfilled.
A proper system will only exist when youth football is properly structured. Only on this foundation can the future of the club be built," Rokhus Rokhusovich concluded, summing up the visit.
"A meeting with someone like Rochus Shoch—the head of the Freedom QJ League, who does so much for the development of youth football in Kazakhstan—was probably long overdue.
The questions raised by the League President are timely, and discussing them is essential. We certainly need to pay more attention specifically to the development of children's football.
It is a great achievement that we maintained our place in the Freedom QJ League. Credit for this also goes to Rokhus Shokh, who helped us.
But we cannot just rely on someone else. We need to find our own opportunities, train our own staff, and look for people who will get involved in the development of football in the region and help us.
I believe that Rokhus Shokh's visit will help shift perspectives and improve the situation. At least, that is what we hope for," shared Askar Kushikbayev, head coach of "Taraz" U-17.
