Shymkent’s Ordabasy have ended their UEFA Youth League campaign after the first round.
In the return leg of the Champions Path against Minsk’s Dinamo, played behind closed doors in Shymkent, the Kazakh side lost 0–2. The goals were scored by Vladislav Benya and Andrey Lutskovich.
Thus, the Belarusian club advanced to the second round with an aggregate score of 3–1. The only scorer for Ordabasy was Maksim Gamayunov, who netted in the first leg.
It should be reminded that Freedom QJ League provided Ordabasy with financial assistance under the support program for Kazakhstan’s representative in the UEFA Youth League Champions Path. The club received 12.5 million tenge, which could only be spent on pre-agreed expenses related to participation in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in the Champions League Path, Kairat’s juniors were defeated by Real Madrid’s peers with a score of 1–4. The only goal for the Kazakh team was scored by Ismail Bekbolat.
