The 11th Matchweek of the Freedom QJ League B has concluded. Here are the highlights of the past games.

Ten goals at Khan Tengri Stadium – and it’s a draw!

The match between Khan Tengri and Ontustik in Almaty was one of the most remarkable games of the week. It had everything – lead changes, cards, a missed penalty, and most importantly, goals galore from both sides.

It all started with two quick goals from the hosts – Alisher Guliyev and Rauan Sarsenbek gave their team a comfortable lead by the 15th minute. In the 38th, Elbek Abdukahkharov pulled one back, but shortly after the break, Abilai Mamadiyar made it 3–1.

But the team from Shymkent didn’t give up. In the 51st minute, Alihan Ali reduced the gap, and then Oralhan Kulmurat equalized. Almost immediately, Rauan Sarsenbek scored his second of the night to restore the lead – only for Alihan Ali, who missed from the spot, to make it 4–4 on the rebound.

The next goal came in the 85th minute. Elbek Abdukahkharov’s second of the match seemed to seal the thriller, and Ontustik fans had reason to celebrate – but right before the final whistle, Dinmukhamed Tailan beat Darken Sultan. The match ended 5–5.

It was an emotional game with five bookings and one sending off. In stoppage time, Elbek Abdukahkharov received a second yellow for unsporting behavior – which had been the main reason the referee was reaching for his pocket all evening.

Anuar Tolendi’s successful debut

Ontustik’s slip allowed the KFF Academy to return to the top of the table. The team won 2–0 away against Altay. Artem Shalygin opened the scoring in the 19th minute, and Anuar Tolendi – recently transferred from Astana – doubled the lead in the 41st.

It’s worth noting that the 14-year-old forward had already scored 10 goals in six matches in the Freedom QJ League U16. His debut at the senior level looks promising – can Anuar keep it up?

Okzhetpes crush Kyzyl-Zhar

The match in Kokshetau was an overwhelming success for the hosts – Okzhetpes scored five unanswered goals against the visitors from Petropavl. Islam Tuyak netted a brace, Tamirlan Kalymzhanov had a goal and assist. Dmitriy Kolesnichenko and Artem Shimanskiy also scored.

Thanks to this win, the Blue-Mountain side strengthened their position in the top three. The gap from fourth-placed Kyzyl-Zhar is now four points. Moreover, Yevgeny Ulshin’s team remains in contention for the title – the KFF Academy is only two points ahead.
