The first stage of the designer contest has concluded, and the expert jury has selected the ten best entries.
To recap, participants were required to create a unique and vibrant concept for merchandise that would seamlessly align with the League’s visual identity, and post their work on Instagram.
The jury members shared their impressions of the submitted entries.
Daniil Chalov, founder of the brand Nothing Ordinary:
– You shouldn’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. We don’t forget that – and neither does the QJ League. Two years ago, the first merch collection and the first kit were created. These meanings still live on. But now it’s time for new designs and new visions.
Together with our team, we reviewed all the designs for the new merch and gear that you prepared. I can say we have five favorites. I’m sure one of them will win, and these items will become part of a new QJ League story that’s unfolding every day. Good luck to everyone. Keep creating and believe in your dream.
Gulzat Smagulova, graphic designer at Freedom QJ League:
– It was important for us to give young Kazakhstani designers a chance to showcase their talents. Honestly, I was amazed by how many strong and creative works we received.
Thank you all for participating. I hope we’ll create some powerful merchandise and kits together.
Leila Baltieyva, Commercial Director of the media holding Partners:
– I was happy to review the work of some incredibly talented young people. Huge thanks to the Freedom QJ League team for inviting me to be on the jury.

The winners will be determined through a fan vote in the League’s Telegram channel, which will start soon.
A reminder: the author of the winning design will receive a cash prize of 500,000 tenge. The prizes for second and third place are 300,000 and 200,000 tenge, respectively. Additionally, the winner will have the opportunity to participate in the filming of a promo video for the merchandise based on their work.
