The acting head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team, Ali Aliyev, has announced the extended squad of players called up for the March matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
It includes two players with experience in the League: Kairat's forward and the Most Valuable Player of the Freedom QJ League 2024, Dastan Satpayev, as well as former Atyrau player, now playing for Danish club Køge – Dulat Talyspayev.
Ali Aliyev's team will play two away matches this month as part of the qualifiers: against Wales on March 22 and Liechtenstein on March 25. Notably, if 16-year-old Satpayev makes his debut, he will break Zhambyl Kukeyev's record and become the youngest player in the history of the national team.
We wish Dastan and Dulat the best of luck with the national team!
