The title of the best midfielder of the past Freedom QJ League U16 season was awarded to Miras Nurlanov of FC Aktobe.
Over 22 matches, he scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists. He attempted 37 shots on goal, 14 of which were on target. Nurlanov also completed 338 accurate passes out of 475 (71%), made 121 ball recoveries and tackles, and recorded 46 interceptions.
As part of the League’s partnership with Freedom Bank, the winners of the individual awards — “Most Valuable Player”, “Best Goalkeeper”, “Best Defender”, “Best Midfielder”, and “Best Forward” — will each receive 200,000 tenge.
“First of all, I want to express my gratitude. This award gives me strong motivation to keep working.
The season was productive — full of emotions and experience. I want to strengthen this result and achieve new goals. The most memorable moment for me was the match against Kaisar.
How will I spend the prize money? I’ll buy boots, and the rest I’ll give to my parents.
I wish the younger boys good luck. Don’t be afraid, treat every chance responsibly and believe in yourselves. If you work hard, you can shine in this League,” he said in his interview.
