Zhenis and Jaiyq pull away from Khan-Tengri

At Astana Arena, Zhenis claimed a crushing 5-1 win over Khan-Tengri. Abyz Yergaliuly scored twice and provided an assist, while Daut Khussen, Amirkhan Abay and Temirlan Kaiyrzhan also got on the scoresheet. Timur Deshko scored Khan-Tengri’s only goal.

Later, Jaiyq also secured a confident victory – the league leaders travelled to Petropavl and beat Kyzylzhar 3-0. Rami Zhaksylyk scored a brace, with Yerasyl Karim adding another goal.

As a result, the Almaty side fell three points behind their rivals in the title race.

Okzhetpes overtake Zhetysu

The match in Kokshetau between Okzhetpes and Zhetysu ended in a comfortable 4-0 win for the hosts. Each goal had a different scorer: Abilmansur Khamit, Nuraly Sabyrzhan, Almerek Karbayev and Roman Andreyev all found the net.

Thanks to this victory, the Sinegortsy moved above the team from Taldykorgan in the standings and climbed to fourth place. They are now three points behind Khan-Tengri and six points behind leaders Zhenis and Jaiyq.

A valuable win for Ontustik

The Shymkent side, who had lost their previous two matches, scored three unanswered goals against Atyrau. Diyarbek Otkurbayev opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Arda Mukhtarov and Rauan Dzhurumbetov made the scoreline more emphatic.

The two-time Freedom QJ League B champions can still return to the fight for medals this season despite currently sitting seventh in the table. There are still 11 rounds to go, and they are only six points behind third place.

Altay let victory slip in the final minutes

The only team in the tournament yet to beat an opponent this season almost managed to do so in the latest round – by the 86th minute of their home match against Yelimay, Altay were leading 2-1.

However, the visitors had other plans. In the short time remaining, the representatives of Semey scored twice through Anas Adylkhanov and Muslim Seitkaliyev, leaving the hosts at the bottom of the standings.
