Aktobe beat Tobol, Shakhtyor comeback in Taraz: What You Need to Know from Matchweek 4 of the Freedom QJ League

Draw streaks continue for Zhas Kyran and Ordabasy

Zhas Kyran recorded their third draw of the season, finishing 1:1 against Kaisar in Kyzylorda. Bekzhan Khafizov opened the scoring for the visitors in the 9th minute, but Muhammed Suindik equalized late in the first half.

A similar story played out in Atyrau. Ordabasy were leading 2:0 by the 63rd minute, but the home team came back: first, Maksat Muratov converted a penalty, and then Bakdaulet Marat made it 2:2 in the 82nd minute. A key moment was the red card shown to defender Abdurakhman Orumbaev in the 62nd minute.

Both teams now have three draws and one win, with Zhas Kyran ahead in the standings due to goal difference.

Kagazbayev and Nefyodov rescue Shakhtyor

The first half of the Taraz vs Shakhtyor match ended goalless. In the 56th minute, Adiyat Dexen gave Taraz the lead after a corner routine.

But Shakhtyor’s Nurkhan Kagazbayev and Nikita Nefyodov turned the tide. Kagazbayev netted twice (61', 70'), and Nefyodov assisted both goals, making him the league's top assist provider with four. These were Kagazbayev’s first goals of the season — last year he scored three in 19 U-17 appearances.

Big weekend for Aktobe

Having failed to win in the first three rounds, Aktobe turned things around with a stunning 6:0 victory over long-time rivals Tobol. Each goal came from a different player: Nurdaulet Toregali, Vitaliy Laturnus, Khasen Arturuly, Azamat Musaev, Islam Nuradinov and Danial Yerimbet.

Tobol remain winless with only one point to their name — earned in Matchday 1. Only Caspiy are below them, having lost all four matches so far. Aktobe also defeated Tobol in both the U-17 (2:1) and U-16 (4:1) competitions.
